When will the balloons fly?
Typically the balloons fly at sunrise and sunset. There are planned balloon launches between 6pm & 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday and a Saturday morning ascent between 6am and 7:30am. Balloons require specific weather conditions to fly and the safety of our pilots and guests is of the utmost concern and all balloon activity is weather permitting.

Can I fly in a balloon?
Vista Balloon Flights are the only passenger-operated flights from the event: https://www.vistaballoonflights.co.uk/book-your-flight/
(No a balloon flight isn’t included in the cost of the ticket).

What if the weather is bad?
All balloon events are weather permitting, we can’t predict the Great British weather, unfortunately, all balloon announcements will happen on the page after the pilot’s briefing. Please be aware that balloons cannot fly in the wind or rain. The event will go ahead and the act timings are subject to change.
